The majority of buyers, over 90%, are utilizing the Internet to create a list of properties they might call their next home. To narrow down a list of homes, the buyer searches in a specific area and scrolls through the countless homes posted on the MLS. Every real estate listing is usually represented by a single thumbnail photo: the front exterior.
We examined home listings around Fort Worth, Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, etc. and found a significant number of them are lacking a Texas blue sky. To illustrate our findings, we created The Realtors Guide to Blue Sky. We wanted to expand on our guide and show you another example with the help of video.

Hi this is Lance with Unique Exposure Photography, and today we’ve got a cloudy day outside.
We’re gonna take an exterior photo of this home and we need to make sure this photo is the best photo that represents this property because it’s the first photo that people are going to see when they look up homes on the MLS. So it’s important that this sky is the blue Texas sky we are used to seeing.
Let’s see what the results are like when we take this sky from white to blue.
